Minelab X-Terra Pro and X-Terra Elite
A folding control arm mod for the Minelab X-Terra Pro and X-Terra Elite.
This is a 3D-printed hinge designed to fit the metal detectors listed in its name. With two quick release pins at the pivot points on each side of the control arm, you can fold it flat against the metal detector pole in either direction. You can also remove it entirely by removing both pins at the same time.
This modification makes it easy to fold the control arm, making the metal detector easier to stow away in a large backpack for example. It conveniently reuses the original latch from the X-Terra control arm, so you have full functionality as far as locking and sliding the control unit up and down, easily adjusting it.
The main hinge is printed with weatherproof, both UV and heat-resistant Polymaker Polylite ASA filament with brass threaded inserts to hold the screws.
Metal parts are rust proof, made from stainless steel and include:
Two stainless steel quick release pins
Four stainless steel M4 x 120mm socket head.

Minelab Manticore metal detector
A folding control arm mod for the Minelab Manticore.
This is a 3D-printed hinge designed to fit the Manticore only. With two quick release pins at the pivot points on each side of the control arm, you can fold it in either direction. You can also remove it entirely by removing both pins at the same time. Useful if you want to stow the metal detector in a large backpack for example.
The main hinge is printed with weatherproof carbon fiber infused ASA filament, A UV and heat-resistant filament (Fiberon ASA CF-08) with brass threaded inserts to anchor the screws stainless steel screws.
Metal parts are rust proof, made from stainless steel and include:
Two stainless steel quick release pins 1/4 inch thick.
Four stainless steel M4 x 120mm socket head screws.
